In keeping with the cellphone theme, this is a little cellphone voicemail greeting I just may use (but only to my friends).
Welcome to the Ditty a Day cellphone series, in which the ditties are ringtones and/or voicemail messages. Today, I taught myself how to make the vocoder behave. Can’t say it’s my most inspired work, but it did its job.
Download the MP3 for use as a ringtone.
Or, if you have an iPhone, download the ringtone version here.
[EDIT: Ironically, that iPhone link will apparently not work in Safari. Firefox has no problems with a Save As, but I've also included the mp3 download now, if all that is too much trouble.]
Happy Birthday, Liz!
This is a little nod to a weird suburban problem that we all seem to have. I’m not entirely satisfied with the rhymes, but such is life when you try to do one of these a day.
I hate to do this, but you may be interested in seeing the show I’m MDing for the next two weeks: High School Musical, presented by Mystic Vision Players. Bring the kids! It’s a romp!
Hope I don’t get killed for this one!
I was feeling contemplative, and also felt like using harp and a low-bitrate reverb. Here’s what came out. Pay special attention to the accidental ripoff of the First Lady Suite harmonies.
I have dreams of one day shredding my way to the top. Until then, I have a Wii. Also, a vibraslap.
