John Lagomarsino is a musician, videographer, photographer, and general media junkie with a passion for art, humor, and technology.  He graduated from Vassar College with a BA in Music, and he’s now Senior Post Producer at Mic.

In the video world, John spent three years as a director at The Verge. At Serino/Coyne, he shot, edited, and directed short-form non-fiction promotional spots for theater.

John’s experience in music is pretty varied.  He’s contributed musical direction on many college and regional shows including Bat Boy: The Musical, Thoroughly Modern Millie, First Lady Suite, High School Musical, and Bert Bernardi’s Jack and the Beanstalk, and has played keyboards for many more. His compositions have been featured in productions of The Laramie Project, A Midsummer Night’s Dream, and As You Like It. John spent two years in the BMI Lehman Engel Musical Theatre Workshop as a composer, and he currently sings with the Young New Yorkers’ Chorus.
